More Than a Place to Stay — Everything You Need to Rebuild

Real recovery takes more than four walls. At Celebrate Forever Families, every survivor who comes through our doors — or reaches out without entering shelter — has access to a full range of free, confidential, trauma-informed services designed to meet you where you are and help you move forward.

One Intake. The Right Support.

You don't have to walk in knowing exactly what you need. Our case managers meet with every survivor to understand your situation and build a plan around it. Whether you need legal protection, counseling, help with your children, or a path to financial independence, we coordinate the services so you don't have to manage it alone.

Our Senior Case Manager was named Advocate of the Year by the Kaufman County District Attorney's Office — a recognition of the care and commitment that goes into supporting every survivor we serve.

Common Questions About Our Survivor Services

  • Do I have to be staying in the shelter to receive services?

No. Our outreach program provides counseling, legal advocacy, case management, and other support services to survivors who are not entering shelter. You can access help from wherever you are.

  • Are all services really free?

Yes. Every service we provide to survivors is completely free of charge. Celebrate Forever Families is funded through grants, donations, and community support so that cost is never a barrier to getting help.

  • What if I don't know which service I need?

That's exactly what our case managers are here for. When you reach out, we'll talk through your situation together and connect you to the right support. You don't need to have it figured out before you call.

  • Are my conversations and information kept private?

Yes. Everything you share with us is confidential. We do not disclose your information to anyone — including family members — without your consent.

  • Do you serve children as well as adults?

Yes. We serve whole families. Children who have witnessed or experienced family violence have access to children's services and play therapy designed specifically for them.

Celebrate Forever Families is a faith-based nonprofit serving survivors of domestic violence across Kaufman, Henderson, and Van Zandt counties. We are the only organization in this region offering both emergency shelter and a long-term residential program under one roof, alongside the full range of survivor services described on this page. Our work is recognized by the Texas Governor's Victims Assistance Grant and the Kaufman County Commissioner's Victims Assistance Grant. Every survivor who reaches out is treated with dignity, confidentiality, and care — regardless of background or belief.
