Some organizations are hard to trace. We're not. Celebrate Forever Families is a vetted recipient of the Texas Governor's Victims Assistance Grant and the Kaufman County Commissioner's Victims Assistance Grant. We publish our 990 so you can see exactly how your gift is used.


Here's what donations fund directly:

  • $30 provides one night of emergency shelter for a survivor and her children
  • $150 covers a week of safe housing, meals, and case management
  • $500 funds a month of children's play therapy sessions
  • $1,200 supports a survivor through a full 45-day emergency shelter stay
  • $5,000 helps a family complete the residential recovery program and transition to independent living


These aren't estimates. They reflect the real cost of keeping our doors open for families who have nowhere else to go.

Donate Funds

A one-time gift makes an immediate difference. A recurring monthly gift means a family can count on shelter being there next month, too. Monthly donors are the backbone of sustainable emergency services.

Donate Items from Our Wish List

Cash isn't the only way to help. We accept in-kind donations of everyday household goods that survivors need the moment they walk through our doors. Current needs include:

  • Dish soap and laundry detergent
  • Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash
  • Toothbrushes and toothpaste
  • Diapers and baby wipes
  • Paper towels and toilet paper
  • Cleaning supplies (all-purpose spray, sponges, trash bags)
  • Gently used clothing for women and children
  • Non-perishable food items

Corporate Giving and Community Service Hours

Businesses and civic organizations can partner with us through financial contributions, employee giving campaigns, or organized service days. Donations of time and labor can be documented as community service hours — a meaningful option for groups who want to give but can't give cash. If you'd rather give your time, our volunteer program puts you to work in ways that directly support shelter residents and outreach clients. If you'd rather show up at an event, our annual fundraisers are a great way to give, connect, and bring others along.


We also welcome referrals. If you work in law enforcement, healthcare, education, or social services and you have a client who needs help, our outreach and non-residential support program is built for exactly that situation.

  • How do I know my donation reaches survivors and not just overhead?

    Every dollar is directed toward shelter operations, survivor services, and recovery programs. Our financials are publicly available, and we are accountable to both state and county grant oversight. We exist to serve survivors — that's where the money goes.

  • Can I donate items instead of money?

    Yes. We maintain an ongoing wish list of household goods, personal care items, and clothing that survivors need when they arrive. Call our crisis line at (844) 525-0160 to arrange a drop-off.

  • What is the difference between the emergency shelter and the residential program?

    Our emergency shelter provides immediate, short-term housing for up to 45 days for survivors and their children who need to leave home tonight. Our residential program is a longer-term option for survivors who are ready to work through a structured recovery process and build toward independent living. We are the only organization in this area that offers both under one roof.

  • Can my company make a donation or organize a service day?

    Yes. We welcome corporate contributions, employee giving campaigns, and organized volunteer or service days. Reach out through our contact page and we'll work with you to build a partnership that fits your team.
