Kaufman County's Only Emergency Domestic Violence Shelter — Free, Confidential, and Here When You Need Us

We serve survivors of domestic violence and their children across Kaufman, Henderson, and Van Zandt counties. Our crisis line is answered 24 hours a day, every day. Help costs you nothing.

We are a domestic violence shelter. If you are looking for emergency housing assistance not related to family violence, we are not the right fit — but your local 211 service can connect you with housing resources in your area.

If you or your children are being hurt, threatened, or controlled by a partner or family member, you are in the right place. Everything we offer is free, private, and available to you now.

Emergency Shelter and Long-Term Recovery — Both, Under One Roof

Celebrate Forever Families is the only organization in the tri-county area offering both emergency shelter and a long-term residential program to women and children experiencing homelessness due to domestic violence or sex trafficking. Whether you need somewhere safe tonight or a stable foundation to rebuild your life, we have a path for you.

Emergency Shelter

Safe, immediate placement for up to 45 days for you and your children.

Residential Program

Longer-term stable housing and structured recovery support for survivors ready to rebuild.

Outreach & Non-Residential Support

Counseling, legal advocacy, and services for survivors who are not entering shelter.

Survivor Services

Safety planning, protective orders, children's play therapy, job readiness, and more — available through every program we offer.

Every Service Is Free. No Exceptions.

Shelter, counseling, case management, legal advocacy — all of it is provided at no cost to survivors. There are no fees, no income requirements, and nothing that puts your safety or privacy at risk.

When you reach out, a crisis advocate will connect with you to understand your situation and help you find the right path — whether that is emergency shelter, outreach services, or something in between. The process is private, judgment-free, and moves at your pace.

We know that looking for help can feel dangerous. This website includes a quick-exit button at the top of every page — press it at any time to leave immediately. Our intake process is confidential, and we will never contact you in a way that could put you at risk.

You are allowed to look. You are allowed to ask questions. Nothing you do here commits you to anything.
